I have spent years building technology with teams that support large enterprises. I believe innovation should serve people and strengthen communities. Today too many corporations use automation and visa loopholes to cut payroll while exporting opportunity. That path weakens the middle class and it undermines trust in the future.
We can set a better standard. Artificial intelligence should be transparent, auditable, and aligned with human work. Companies that adopt artificial intelligence should disclose its use in ways that allow consumers and employees to understand the impact. Federal contracts should favor vendors who create and protect American jobs. Educational partners should expand rigorous programs in cybersecurity, networking, advanced manufacturing, and data center operations so young Texans do not need to leave home to find a career.
Texas can lead the nation in responsible technology. Data centers, chip facilities, and clean tech manufacturing belong on American soil and they can thrive in the Twenty First District. Local governments should streamline permits for projects that meet high efficiency standards and that commit to hiring local talent. At the same time we must prevent abuse of the H 1B program so that employers cannot bypass qualified Americans.
The promise is straightforward. Technology that raises productivity and wages. Training that opens doors for students, veterans, and mid career workers. A culture that treats engineers and tradesmen with equal respect because both are builders. I will work with industry partners, community colleges, and small firms to keep innovation in America and to ensure it improves daily life for families across this district.
Small firms that build secure software and hardware deserve a fair path to federal contracts so innovation is not limited to a few giants.
Scholarships and employer sponsored training can help mid career workers transition into data center operations and cybersecurity roles.
We will publish a district technology map that highlights assets, training pipelines, and hiring needs so students can plan real careers.
We will post progress updates and invite public feedback because accountability is the only way to turn promises into lasting results.
